Mortars
Make your own spice mix. This heavy stoneware mortar grinds spices fresh in the traditional Asian way, so they keep their full aroma. The rounded base and the solid ceramic pestle also suit herb pastes and Italian pesto. The ceramic is extremely hard and thick-walled, and acids cannot touch it, so the mortar lasts a long time. Nothing lingers on the hard-fired inner wall once it has been washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Diameter approx. 13–17 cm.
